One of the most important social actions of Votorantim Cimentos is Project Futuro em Nossas Mãos. The aim of this project is to further the education of youths aged between 18 and 24, developing technical, citizenship and management skills and supporting their inclusion in the job market.

This project is developed with the support of the National Service for Industrial Training (Senai), of the Civil Construction Trade Association (Sinduscon) and of the city councils of the 70 municipalities where it is executed. It is divided into modules that prepare youths to work in areas of the business chain of the Units of the Votorantim Group, such as civil construction and locksmith work, tapping the company's expertise in the project. The objective is to make them capable of working together with other professionals.

With this project, Votorantim Cimentos qualifies and provides an important opportunity for these youths to enter the job market.

The company idealized the project, contributes with materials, tools and uniforms and provides support to the partner entities - Amoa, Rede Esperança, Senai, Acomac, Sinduscon, Sindimac, ABCP, Casa de Passagem and APBMF, among others.

Besides technical competency, the course, which lasts for 200 hours on average, addresses concepts relating to the rights and duties of youths as citizens, the use of quality and safety rules and procedures and basic principles of team work, entrepreneurism and creativity.
