| Currently, time saving for concluding and delivering a job, with minimum waste, is essential for civil engineering success. Further development in that direction leveraged the importance of industrialized construction, with the use of precast or pre-manufactured products. In this manner, the pre-manufactured found application in various jobs such as hotels, shopping centers, supermarkets, multiple floor residential or commercial buildings, industries, schools and hospitals.
Amongst the main advantages of using pre-manufactured as a construction solution is the job execution and delivery speed, reduction and rigorous costs control and reduction, faster return on investment apart from durability and architectonic versatility, and this last feature is specially true for facade slabs.
The projects may mix methods, through the use of concrete elements prepared on site and pre-manufactured, according to the project. Pre-manufactured elements may be used from the foundations and structure to the roof and closing. Also, pre-manufactured concrete can introduce solutions for different specific applications, such as foundations, support elements and stairs. Some elements are highlighted below:
The facade slabs may be modular or architectural, with different shape, texture, color and engraved details. Currently, state-of-the-art technology is available such as GFRC (glass fiber reinforced concrete) slabs. Another precast solution of construction industrialization, are the bathroom and kitchen modules and all the electrical and hydraulic installations, windows, doors and finishes ready for installed. In the case of bathrooms, sanitary ware and mirrors can also be installed at the plant. The big advantage offered by these products is quality. |
