The innovation, a result of the partnership between Votorantim Cimentos and representatives of the cement transformation industry, is an elegant, practical and modern solution for all environments. According to Marcelo Chamma, commercial director of the company, the firm’s objective is to always anticipate market trends, providing consumers with creative solutions. "Cement is versatile, it offers an excellent cost/benefit ratio and is suitable for various environments", concludes the executive. The company offers more than 40 different types of product, in a wide range of colors. Architect Alexandre Galhego, for instance, responsible for the creation of external environments, such as Praça das Palmeiras, alleges that the cement base flooring is practical, visually modern and comes in colors that provide the perfect fit to the environment. Anderson Roberto Leite, an architect who created the garage space of one of the two residences of the event, says that in choosing the cement flooring he took into consideration not only the appearance and resistance of the product, but also the fact that it feels comfortable when you walk on it barefoot. Cinnamon Cement – Votoran CP V-ARI RS Cinnamon Color cement, the first colored cement in the Brazilian market, merges functionality, economy and versatility. Launched by Votorantim Cimentos in 2003, the product satisfies the needs of architects and engineers, which have access to an option that offers greater adaptation to environments and makes colored construction jobs economically feasible. Geared towards industrial consumption, it affords a reduction in the production cost for the manufacturers of colored concrete items, such as blocks, pavers, artifacts, fiber cements and pre-cast products, due to the reduced need for the use of pigments.

Cimento Votoran Branco (white cement) – produced with select raw material, Cimento Votoran Branco is perfect for use in internal and external environments, as it combines the versatility of the white product with the resistance of gray cement. The neutral tone also permits the use of pigments and materials such as marble or granite dust, generating differentiated colors and textures. Cimento Votoran Branco is also an economical product, as it does not require finishing, considerably reducing the execution time and costs with labor. The product is available on the market in two versions: CPB - 40 STRUCTURAL, indicated for applications in concrete with different textures and colors; polished concrete floors, interlocked concrete, terrazzo and reggia; closing panels; mortars and regrouts with or without pigmentation; prefabricated concrete artifacts, such as fences, newel posts and vases; structural blocks; and colored roof tiles and NON-STRUCTURAL CPB, indicated for fine regrouting - maximum 3mm – and minor repairs.

Votoran - CP II-E-32: has standardized additions for use and application in general. Ideal for use in reinforced, machined or pretensioned concrete structures, pre-cast items and concrete artifacts, such as blocks, pavers, pipes, roof tiles, vases, and others. Also indicated for concrete pavements, bond-coat mortars, setting and coverings, flooring, mortar beds and grouts. Packaging: 25kg and 50kg.

Votoran CP II-F-32: recommended for general use in civil construction. Suitable for use on reinforced, machined or pretensioned concrete structures, pre-cast items and concrete artifacts, such as blocks, pavers, pipes, roof tiles, vases, and others. Also indicated for use in fiber cement, bond-coat mortars, setting and coverings, flooring, mortar beds and grouts. Packaging: 25kg, 42.5kg and 50kg.

Votoran - CP II-Z-32: has a good performance in concrete structures. Used in jobs subject to aggressive places, damp environments and marine construction jobs. Its use is recommended for simple, reinforced or machined concrete, concrete structures in general, foundations, pegs, underground galleries, setting and covering mortars, thin concrete for walk paving and covering. Packaging: 25kg and 50kg.

Votoran - CP III-32 RS: this is a blast furnace Portland cement indicated for applications in general, especially in concrete-plaster jobs exposed to aggressive environments, not requiring very high resistances in the first ages. Its use is recommended in pavements and large blocks of concrete, jobs in direct contact with chemically aggressive environments. Packaging: 50kg.

Votoran - CP IV-32: increases the durability of concrete structures that come into contact with aggressive environments, subject to corrosion caused by sulfates, sewage, seawater and others. It also allows the job to have a longer useful life and minimizes the risk of expenditures with short and long-term maintenance. Its use is recommended in large construction jobs, concrete-plaster jobs, pavements and large concrete blocks, jobs in a marine and sanitation environment with dams, bridges or ports. Packaging: 25kg and 50kg.

Votoran - CP IV-32 RS: ideal for mortars and concretes used in current and special construction jobs, such as buildings, bridges, highways and concrete in coastal regions. CP IV-32 RS has the fastest drying time in the market for this kind of product, permits fast stripping and protects the construction against aggressive environmental agents, especially from corrosion caused by sulfates. Packaging: 25kg and 50kg.

Votoran- CP V-ARI RS: indicated in situations in which the need to strip fast is required or when some resistance to aggressive environmental agents is necessary, especially corrosion caused by sulfates. Used in concrete artifacts and blocks, pretensioned and high performance concrete (HPC), interlocked floors and prefabricated concrete items in general. Packaging: 40kg and 50kg.

Votoran CP V ARI Desforma Rápida (Fast Strip): this is a cement used for applications that call for high initial resistance, requiring fast stripping. Suitable for the manufacture of pre-cast items, artifacts, concrete blocks, interlocked floors, pretensioned and high-performance concrete (HPC). ARI Desforma Rápida is a pure ARI, hence without the addition of slag. Therefore it does not have the characteristic of RS (resistance to sulfates). Packaging: 40kg and 50kg.

Votomassa Maxi Cola – a four-in-one product, developed for exterior and interior setting of porcellanato, slate, granite and ceramic on ceramic.

Votomassa Colante Interior (Interior Binder) – recommended for setting ceramic tiles in internal environments (floors and walls).

Votomassa Colante Exterior (Exterior Binder) - indicated for setting ceramic tiles in internal and external areas, subject to the action of time, sun, wind and rain.

Votomassa Múltiplo Uso (Multipurpose) – adequate for setting masonry sealing bricks and structural bricks, and for interior and exterior wall covering.

Votomassa Rejuntamento (regrout) - indicated for the regrouting of ceramic plates, natural stones with 3-10 mm thick grouts. Available in the market in the colors white, cream, ice, light grey, dark grey, black, brown, ceramic, caramel and beige.

Votomassa Contrapiso (mortar bed) - indicated for the leveling of floors and slabs, serving as a base for subsequent setting of ceramic coverings, stone, carpet or wood, in internal or external environments.

Votomassa Chapisco para Alvenaria (Bond-coat for Masonry) - indicated as a bond between masonry – concrete blocks, ceramic tiles and sand lime – and covering mortars, in internal or external environments.

Votomassa Chapisco Adesivo para Concreto (Concrete Adhesive Base) – provides high adherence between bases of low absorption (such as concrete) and covering mortars.

Votomassa Revestimento Interno e Externo (Interior and Exterior Covering) – adequate for internal and external wall covering.

Votomassa Assentamento Estrutural (Structural Setting) – adequate for the setting of structural masonry of concrete bricks, ceramic tiles and sand lime of up to 10 MPa, guaranteeing the total stability of the masonry.

Votomassa Assentamento de Vedação e Encunhamento (Sealing and Anchorage Setting)– developed for the setting of blocks for sealing and anchorage masonry. Exhibits low deformation module, resulting in greater power to absorb tensions and high adhesiveness between the masonry blocks.
