The Ready Mix division of CBM implemented a Safe Work Reward Program in 2004 to recognize plants that operated accident free. A donation of $0.04 per hour, for each hour worked at the plant, was accumulated for each quarter (or 100-day period in the Greater Toronto area) where there was no lost time injury. ca Through the safe work habits of all CBM Ready Mix employees, donations of more than $30,000.00 will be made to charities chosen by the employees.

Local charities such as children's hospitals and women's shelters will benefit from CBM employees´ efforts.
